Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) won't vote to replace Ginsburg until inauguration

If Romney, Grassley and Gardner (or just two of them) decides to join Murkowski and Collins, there won't be a replacement until January.
This is getting interesting.

Well, you got the most obvious two. Maybe Romney just because he hates Trump. Then the sledding gets difficult. And you're assuming no one in the Democrat party flips. Manchin and some in the west are a definite possiblity.

Anyway, you got the two most useless Republicans who always capitulate to the Democrats and never get anything back in return for it ever. If anyone had said "name two," it would have been those two. It's pathetic

Lisa must be in a close race for reelection and fears centrists' retaliation if she blindly follows the impeached president trump's and Moscow Mitch's orders to do as she is told.

Conservatives' inability to think for themselves is well known, so Lisa's decision is a rarity, indeed.

She's not up for re-election and she's worried about leftist retaliation ... in Alaska ??? You're dreaming again

Suggesting we'll have new judge before the election is ludicrous. The average time between nomination and confirmation for the 9(including RBG) is 79 days, taking us to just before Xmas, if the nom is made tomorrow. Add that to the fact that Congress will be going into recess and there's no way it'll happen before the inauguration.

Here's how long it's taken to confirm past Supreme Court justices

I think the point is that they are well aware of the shot clock

Saying they oppose it being taken up is not the same thing as saying they won't vote if it is taken up, which it will be.

posturing by politicians...

She was appointed to the U.S. Senate by her father, who resigned his seat in December 2002 to become the Governor of Alaska. She completed her father's unexpired term, which ended in January 2005.

Murkowski ran for and won a full term in 2004. She ran for a second term in 2010. After losing the Republican Party primary to Tea Party candidate Joe Miller, Murkowski ran as a write-in candidate and defeated both Miller and Democrat Scott McAdams in the general election; this made her the second U.S. Senator, the first being Strom Thurmond in 1954, to be elected by write-in vote.

Murkowski was born in Ketchikan in the Territory of Alaska, the daughter of Nancy Rena (née Gore) and Frank Murkowski.[2] Her paternal great-grandfather was of Polish descent, and her mother's ancestry is Irish and French Canadian.[3] As a child, she and her family moved around the state with her father's job as a banker.

She earned a B.A. degree in Economics from Georgetown University in 1980,

Another winner. A Pollock Jew who went to a commie kollidge and her daddy covered her ass.
Yeah Alaska !

So she's genetically predisposed to being stubborn with a capital S even before she was indoctrinated at Georgetown.
Egads!

Then they should realize they don't have the time. There's no overtime in this game and the Dems aren't going to cooperate. I'm sure even the Republicans realize Trump's wishes are unattainable, but most are to cowed to say so. They just want to go home and campaign, but are stuck with a narcissistic b*tthole as their leader.

We owe Dems zero as they have come up with 50 smears snd hoaxes to harm Trump
But, that being said and even though these are not “normal” times, what is the historical time frame for replacing a deceased SC judge?

Unfortunately RINO Lease-a (why buy a politician when you can lease a Murkowski?) isn't up for re-election this year. If she were she'd be dog meat in Republican Alaska. And folks there have a good understanding of the meaning of that term.

Biden has no obligation to release a list...because he isn't President.
Look, I was giving you the doubt of being a dingbat. Alas, I was wrong,

Alas, you being the Trump supporter you are, how is it you can't see that Biden putting together a list of potential SC nominees only helps Trump and the Republicans?
Again, Biden isn't President. If he wins on November 3rd, then people will start caring about his "list"...but he still can't do anything about it until January 20th.

Grassley will back Trump nominee. Romney will on abortion issue. Murkowski and Collins better get their shit wired tight.

Biden will not win in November. Steal the election perhaps...but win it? Never.

At the worst, enter Pence, stage right!
