Libertarians are very confused about capitalism - Salon.com

“There is no evidence that capitalism exists today,” says former congressman Ron Paul. A leading libertarian voice in American politics, Paul says the land of the free no longer has free markets but an economy centrally planned by powerful elites, one that “allows major benefits to accrue to the politically connected,” not the most deserving.

These days, “corporate subsidies” and “privileged government contracts to the military-industrial complex” are the path to riches, says Paul. “This is not capitalism!”

I don't agree with all of this article but there's a big difference between wealth earned and wealth bestowed by govt privilege. Libertarians now have very different standards nowadays.

oh and salon has the ultimate knowledge, no less

Not to mention Nuttly Lugtite supports a president that has funneled billions into donors, failed green energy firms and over 1/2 billion to a supporter to develop a failed website and then awarded them the contract to fix their own mess.

His credibility hovers around -1,000... as does Obama's.
