You don't even know that Truman was elected to a 2nd term. The other stuff you wrote is just as misinformed. Truman implemented the GI Bill, made sure returning soldiers had jobs, college, homes and new cars. He opened the Happy Days of the 50's and on top of that began the rebuilding of allied countries in Europe which boosted the American economy. He served from April of 1945 to January of 1953.
