First of all, the massholes NEED A GOD ; something to explain events that they cannot understand. IF THE MASSHOLES DID NOT HAVE A RELIGION GIVEN TO THEM,,,THEY WOULD CREATE ONE BASED ON THEIR LOCAL ENVIRONMENT AND NEEDS and society would be un-governable as thousands of LOCAL religions would be fighting each other ( City vs city ). Teaching kids a bit of the basics of Islamic history and their beliefs/practices in the context of world history is harmless and a necessary piece of human history

If you’re really worried that schools teaching a bit about other religions conflicts with your Christian teachings at home or in church, well, all that means is you’re doing a shitty job as a parent

It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that liberals would not object to the teaching of the Quaran -or any other religious text- any less vigorously , if it were to be taught as the only true belief – as you woulds want the bible to be taught. The only place that religious text can have in public education is in the context of comparative religion and cultural education.

If the public school system 'teaches' Christianity, it must also teach Islam, Judaism. . Even the concept of hozho as believed by some Native Americans. Shux, even Satanism
