"Liberals" hate Christians

The only reason 'liberals' in the last fifteen years have been getting all christian is that they found out that they can split the christian vote in half. It is a fair bet to imagine that a lot of non-conservatives attend church and a lot of the christian vote goes to republicans. This was a threat to someone's power but the left figured out that it can employ the old strategy of divide and conquer and weaken the right's ability to get the christian vote. It was always done for political reason which means that the 'liberal' christian is being used by the people in power. Their growing alliance with this group is not authentic at all.
I think they just started coming to my church when we started a sexual addiction program. They're looking for hookups.

Anti-Godists (which come in left, center, and right) hate Christianity and all other religions.

"Liberals" hate far right evangelicalism, not Christianity.

90% of America really despises far right evangelicalism.
I was thinking the same thing. There are lots of liberal Christians out there

Liberal Christians keep Jesus out of anything taxpayer-funded yet quote Him and Scripture regularly when they want more taxpayers' money.
When they want more taxes going to poor people yes. Jesus said feed the poor and cure the sick.

Jesus said to feed the poor and cure the sick......nothing about handing money over to Government so they can pay themselves, their cronies, bureaucrats, then the poor and cure the sick. And then, go ask for more taxes because there is not enough money. Jesus told us to feed the poor and cure the sick, he was speaking of individual, direct charity. According to IRS data, Utah, Georgia, Tennessee, Idaho, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina are the top states whereby taxpayers give a larger percentage of their income to charity.....not exactly Liberal bastions, are they? In fact, Liberals refer to this as The Bible Belt.

It's clear you don't understand the Bible.

OK, where in the Bible does Jesus say for people to give their money to the Government to take care of the Poor?

And where, bright eyes, does it say not to? Jesus was very clear about giving to God what belongs to God, and to give to government belongs to government.

Jesus made a very clear distinction between what was the Government and What was to be given to God. Whenever He talks about giving to the Poor, he is talking about giving directly. He does not mention Government as the medium or vehicle for this. Jesus clearly did not believe in cronies, unions, and bureaucrats getting their cuts first in the name of the hungry and sick.

Jesus had no hesitation to tell his followers to give to government. He says man's duty is to his fellow man. Since he does not specify either government or private support, He probably would support both.

Jesus didn't get to vote for his representatives...

"Libereals" only cared about this country having freedom of religion when they can use it for the benefit of muslims. Whenever some guy wants to pick on some christian preacher because he thinks women should stay at home then religion becomes bad and evil but when muslims happen to believe the same thing then it is "OK". It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize a pattern.

Again ---- link?

I've notice that whenever someone or some group wants to stand outside of a mosque and criticize Islam with slogans like "Islam stinks" that there is always a bunch of 'liberals' show up to counter them. The 'liberals' defend islam vigorously but the minute someone shows up in front of a christian church or Jewish temple and criticizes it there is not one single 'liberal' there countering the protest. It just makes me think that liberals cherish the right of people islam to practice their religion but not for others.

You really should not call them Christians.

Instead, refer to them as Xtians or teabaggers.

Otherwise, Dims may spew bile all over their computer.

not wanting you to turn us into a theocracy does not mean anyone hates Christians.

now go drink your bottle of warm milk like the good whining baby you are.

Limited Government. Jesus would have big problems with all of the layers and cronies getting paid with other people's money before and in the name of the poor. Jesus would applaud welfare; not the abuse or the corruption. He would also expect more from individuals giving directly. Jesus will judge me more on what I gave to the poor and sick directly; not my taxes.
