Not true. There is what the voters want and there is what the elites push on us. At the turn of the century the percentage was lower as Republicans voters were sleeping at a higher percentage than today. No true anymore. Why in the world would Nikki Haley be "the default candidate?" Most of her votes come from "crossover Democrats" i.e. election cheats.

In the extremely unlikely event that Trump dies and the race is Haley Vs. Biden, the election would go however the Democrats decide for it to go. If that happens, it will indicate that the Dems have gained near complete control of the election process.

By that point, it would be one Democrat vs. Another so they could make it a landslide for Biden, or they could make it a close race that they could use as an excuse to dump Harris and replace her with Haley. Or whatever they wanted.

Death is the only thing that will stop Trump from running. Trump could run for office and could serve from jail, other leaders have done so. But any incarceration would probably be served under (White) house arrest, and not actual prison. That is in the unlikely event that he were ever to be sentenced to incarceration and actually turned himself in or was apprehended.

No judge has been stupid or brave enough to even hear a claim of election fraud. Why would any judge be brave or stupid enough to send Trump to prison?
