Let's have a conversation

🎯 💯 That's what I've been saying for the last few days. It has mostly fallen upon deaf ears, but it still needs to be stated.
I find it very hard to accept that older people can’t see the scam being perpetrated on us by the elite. We’ve seen the patterns repeated over and over. It’s so obvious to us but they’re still influenced by media propaganda and the myths ingrained in school, and unable to overcome it.

Based n the incredible numbers of left wing scumbags (even just those here at USMB) who were happy to use the assassination of Charlie Kirk to say it was justified because (they falsely claim) he was a fascist and so forth.

Incredible numbers?

Here is the original thread:

Lets go through posts by lefties:

1 - God damn.
2 - Darn.
3 - Hope he pulls though. Thoughts and prayers.
4 - Praying for him
5 - Yup, thoughts and prayers.
6 - no way this could've been prevented.
7 - I hope he pulls through
8 - He brought this on himself.
9 - Really? That's a fucked up perspective. No one should be killed for speaking out.
10 - Jesus Christ, that's horrible.
11 - Thoughts and Prayers.
12- No one deserves that for their political beliefs
13 - I didn't say he deserved it. I said he brought it on himself.
14 - Thoughts and prayers. LOL
16 - Still alive...Good on Charlie.
17 - This is total bullshit. It is an outrage. Just saw this on the radio. Hopefully he has a full recovery.

Where are these "incredible numbers" aside from your biased head? From everything I've seen it's a small minority among general left and non-existant, at least publicly, among high profile Democrats.

Several of the ones you cited blamed him for his own assassination or rises it as an opportunity to mockingly paraphrase the much maligned phrase about “thoughts and prayers.”

And your list is very limited.

Lie all you want. There is a thread in existence already commenting on the multitude of crappy response to his murder.

My list is limited after taking 35 pages and listing a sample of 17 lefties?

Ok what's not limited list? Where did you get your impression of "incredible numbers" (asking second time now)?

Already stated.

Your feeble effort at denial didn’t even scratch the surface.

Oh, and by the way, everyone here already knows it.

If you're a dime-a-dozen god botherer who can't keep their personal beliefs personal, you're perpetuating the 'war'. Appeals to emotion are lazy and largely ineffectual in the face of fact.
Wrong. Our Constitution guarantees freedom of religion and free speech.

He's challenging them to debate him. That's it.

He'll say that he "won", they'll say that they "won".
Then you really don't know squat about the man and you should probably STFU before you expose more of your ignorance.

I've watched several videos of Kirk's "conversations" over the last few days.

They are the standard "I'm 100% right, you're 100% wrong" crap coming from both him and the liberal.

That's a debate, not a conversation. Nothing constructive is created in debates like that. No common ground or new ideas come from that. Kirk was just another hardcore partisan ideologue. Both ends have plenty of them.

So, you watched 30 seconds of only ONE of his many videos. Big Whoop.

He talked to plenty of people. He held many, many conversations with people who were legitimately interested in his take on certain things.

And so far, at no point in any of his talks, speeches, or debates did he ever state "I'm right and you're wrong".
He quoted facts from known sources of standard information anybody and everybody has access to.

For those on the left who insist on having a 'conversation' about hot-button issues--remember that's all Charlie Kirk wanted to do.

"Let's have a conversation."

Charlie Kirk wanted to 'have a conversation,' and he got shot dead for it. Is it a conversation you want, or something else? Say, maybe, total capitulation to your own views of the world?

Think about that for a minute. Please.

Hey I heard of a guy who would be very interested in having peaceful conversations with left ...
I wonder what he's doing right now

Did he want to have a "conversation", or did he want to manipulate people by saying things that weren't true?

He quoted facts from known sources of standard information anybody and everybody has access to.

The problem with what he was doing, as far as I can tell, was that he was going to these events super prepared, and he was debating with people who weren't.

Then he was pushing his view point.

He was very good at controlling the narrative running through his "debates"

For example, 3:21 in he starts talking to a girl.

She asks a question about "democracy", he says "where is democracy in the US Constitution".

He's not being honest with his debating on this one. He's pushing certain points he thinks he can win with. And he keeps pushing until the girl backs down because she doesn't have the answers. If he were debating with me it'd be a different story, though I do know, from talking to my Mississippian colleague, that it'd still be similar.

For example I brought up a comment that in Mississippi the way education is funded leads to problems. He said "a lot of funding for education comes from the federal govt".

What could I say? I didn't have that information to hand. I had to go look it up days later, turns out it's 16%. Not much at all. So, he said something that wasn't true. I couldn't counter that at that point.

Kirk was pushing things, he was trying to befuddle this girl, rather than pushing for actual debate.

This is where I think people have a problem.

"facts" don't make an argument, just pushing this fact or that fact, doesn't mean someone is right.
