The difference between Saudi Arabia and a place like Somalia or Syria is that Saudi Arabia has a government and travelers from there can be vetted. Syria, Libya, Somalia and the rest have no governments and the travelers cannot be easily vetted.

The left wants very long extensive background checks on American citizens who want to buy a gun yet they seem to have no problem letting people from countries that have a strong terrorist element in them and no real government to speak of come here with no or very little vetting rather odd logic to me.
