"Lets do a deal"

Give him time.

We have issues in our own house right now that he is dealing with.

Give him time, that's always the excuse. And it is an excuse because his first lie (on this subject) was ending the war in Ukraine before he takes office. That time has passed.
A month after getting elected, the war still hasn't ended. And now there's a deal in the works that's going to not only keep the war going, but US tax payers are going to be footing the bill for Trumps support.

Seriously, how much time now?

WTF is left wing about holding Trump accountable for lying? Because it's Trump?

A pointless faux question. First we need to establish that he lied. And we do hold politicians accountable for lying on occasion but you liberoids insist he should be persecuted for “lying” just because you don’t like what he says.
WTF is wrong with you loyalist.

Nothing. Now let’s see what’s wrong with a fool partisan hack like you.
God dayum dude.

You’re feeble.
Trump's lied so many times, and still all he has to do is keep lying bigger each time to keep his followers support.
You claiming he lied isn’t the same as establishing that he lied, you shit head.
Are you scared to hold him accountable with provable lies?
First: establish a lie. Then let’s discuss how one goes about ascertaining whether the alleged lie is a weighty matter or not.

You claiming a lie isn’t adequate evidence.

less than a month in.

You do know how many campaign promises Biden "broke" don't you?

What about Obama?

less than a month in.

It's over a month now. And a few months after Trump said he could end the war with just a few phone calls.

I didn't support or trust Biden or Obama. But this isn't about them. It's about Trump lying, the wars continuing. And his supporters keep coming up with one excuse after another, to defend his lying and broken promises.

Political loyalty will get you no where, sir.

He was sworn in on 1/20/2025. Today is 2/10/2025.

That's more than a month?

So the flow of money and weapons to Ukraine will probably continue.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is preparing to meet with Vice President JD Vance at the Munich Security Conference later this week after confirming on Friday he is ready to "do a deal" with President Donald Trump.

According to an interview with Reuters, Zelenskyy said he was ready to supply the U.S. with rare-earth minerals in exchange for Washington’s continued backing of its war effort.

"If we are talking about a deal, then let's do a deal, we are only for it," Zelenskyy said.

I thought this stupid bullshit was going end? WHY DO WE FUND DEATH ALL OVER THE FUCKING PLANET?
By now you should recognize that Legacy media lies a lot. Therefore, we should not be too quick to judge.

Secondly, I have no sympathy for Putin or any other dictatorial thug who invades a sovereign country. I also don't have a problem with the said country wanting to defend itself. It is their right after all. You invade another country, and you get what you get. Just ask Afghanistan after battling both the former USSR and the US. They were outgunned and outmanned, yet they prevailed in the end because they simply refused to stop fighting

I think what most people take issue with is that US using taxpayer money to buy endless amounts of weapons to be shipped all over the world as the US goes insanely in debt. If the said country pays for those weapons, however, it is their business. They should be free to use their own resources to do with them as they will to defend their sovereignty.

And lastly, you presume that all war is bad. Take South Korea, for example. If the US did not get involved, what would be the fate of those people in South Korea? Sure, lives would have been saved by not going to war, but would more lives have been saved over all with such a murderous thug in charge as he starves to death his own people every day? And for the sake of argument, suppose more lives would have been saved. Would those lives even be worth living under the dictatorial leadership of Rocket man? To drive home my point, look at Korea at night.

If you ask me, the people in North Korea probably wish they were dead, which is probably why the lunatic dictator outlawed suicide.

LOLZ

Basically, Ukraine is the petrie dish for all of our ai drones, boston dynamics war dogs, spectres, and a whole array of robotic killing technology gone wild.

There will likely be no 'deal' as the Clown in Kiev is not in control of the territory these rare earth metals are.

Why? Because it's inconvenient? Is that all the word, the honor of the United States of America means to you? Is getting better prices at Walmart more important to you than the lives of innocent Ukrainians that were stupid enough to believe what the elected representatives of the United States of America agreed to?

I hope not.

1994 Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances

To solidify security commitments to Ukraine, the United States, Russia, and the United Kingdom signed the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances on December 5, 1994. A political agreement in accordance with the principles of the Helsinki Accords, the memorandum included security assurances against the threat or use of force against Ukraine’s territory or political independence. The countries promised to respect the sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine.

2009 Joint Declaration by Russia and the United States

Russia and the United States released a joint statement in 2009 confirming that the security assurances made in the 1994 Budapest Memorandum would still be valid after START expired in 2009.
The Ukraine invalidated any international cooperation when they flagrantly violated the Minsk Agreements. They simply cannot be trusted and we should not honor anything with such an obviously duplicitous nation.

I feel horrible for the people

Here you had a people who had to endure Stalin starving them to death, only to be followed by Hitler invading and piece meal murdering them all, but then saved again by Stalin starving them all to death once again

Yay.

And now this.

The Ukraine invalidated any international cooperation when they flagrantly violated the Minsk Agreements. They simply cannot be trusted and we should not honor anything with such an obviously duplicitous nation.
Fuck off you Kremlin troll

That depends.

Sounds like you WANT Russia to win.

Why is that?

Sounds like you just want to see this continue on and on without actually knowing how Ukraine CAN win.

I want Russia to lose, but right now that isn't happening, and won't happen.

Not all war is bad but that doesnt mean we should put our nose in it.

Trump was the first President in a very long time not to start a war.

For that, he gets Kudos.

But, if he can help provide the Ukraine arms without milking the American taxpayers by having them give rare minerals to the US as payment, that seems like a win/win.

As I said, the Ukraine has every right to fight on at every means disposable to them.

As it stands now, Biden is just milking to American taxpayer for everything they have while putting stipulations on the arms they give the Ukraine, and he is doing it indefinitely. There is no game plan for it to end. Sheer insanity.

Probably should just call trump "biden 2.0" as far as foreign policy goes.
About to send israel another 7B.
Talking about nation building on the other side of the planet.
SMH
Vance, Hegseth and Keith Kellogg are no bueno on Ukraine

With Trump and politics, yes, negotiations does mean there will be a deal. And we will still be on the hook for helping Zelensky. And the Trump supporters still won't hold Trump accountable for it.

How do you 'hold him accountable', exactly?

It doesn't matter.

How do Trump supporters keep him from supporting Ukraine and not fulfilling his promise to end the war?
That's the point.

Yeah, how do they, please let us all know?

HOW did they violate the Minsk agreements?

Oh, I'm sure you'll think of something
