New York Attorney General Letitia James on Monday told hospitals that they would be violating state law if they stop offering gender-affirming care for people under age 19 in response to an executive order from President Donald Trump aimed at curtailing federal funding for such treatments.

The NYC taxpayers will be paying for the transition surgery, psychiatric care and the lawsuits when the state is sued. They deserve what they vote for.

Statistically, only a very small segment of human population is homosexual,

So logically, being homosexual must be a disorder since it serves no natural purpose, just as any other birth defect.

Biblically speaking, perhaps it is a punishment.
That said, being homosexual doesn't make one "bad" and I don't feel they should be persecuted in any way, just as you wouldn't punish someone for being born blind. (Unless they encourage or force minors to have sex change surgery.)
