It seems obvious that the current move to the far right by the majority of Republicans hoping to become the standard bearer for their party all support lassiez faire capitalism. It is worth asking their supporters, what would be the consequences of such deregulation?

Since many of those who post often on this message board support ultra conservative solutions to our economic woes, it would be helpful if one of them would explain how such deregulation would impact our citizens?

They also speak of informed consumers yet oppose country of origin labelling laws on our foodstuffs.
And want to do away with all funding of govt programs that inform consumers.
