Zone1 Let it be said that legalized abortion on demand cheapens/ devalues life.

Do you agree that legalized abortion has a net effect of devaluing life?

Do you agree that legalized abortion has an effect of devaluing life in a society that sees abortions as anything less than a violation of the basic human rights of the children that are denied and killed?

Here is a link to a news story that I feel illustrates the point very well.

This one doesn't surprise me at all.

"Rivera’s friends testified at her killer’s trial that Rivera was delighted to be having a baby. Apparently her 20-year-old boyfriend, Nathaniel Dee Smith, was not. Police say Smith murdered Rivera because she refused to have an abortion and he didn’t want to pay child support. Smith was convicted and sentenced to life in prison. (The Oklahoman, 6/2/99)"

Then there is this angle.

Laughing and singing about (funny?) not remembering how many abortions one has had.

It goes without saying that the only, inevitable result of making life cheap by making it a public institution to abort children on a factor assembly line like so much unwanted hair at a barber is to cheapen and devalue life.

How could abortion do anything else?

Another example of how legalized abortion Devalues human life and actually incentivizes predatory abuse members of society to use abortion AND its legality to children and sometimes the mothers too. . . as a result of that devaluation.

No shits given about "a woman's right to choose"....That's just cover for spreading their leg to all cummers.

No shits given about the white holy rollers that whine about abortion but avail themselves of it when it suits them.

I'm all in for the utility of abortion.....The very last thing that this country needs is more fatherless children. It's bad enough in that regard as it is given the tremendous cost to what is left of our society.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of paying out the ass for when other's fatherless crotch fruit go bad.

Very informative.

May I conclude from that - that you have a little less value of human life, given that they COULD have or should have just as easily been aborted and that might save you some money?

From an actual study on the issue (though obviously not intended)

"While women did not report regretting their decision, many did struggle initially to make it. Just over half said the decision to terminate their pregnancy was very difficult (27 percent) or somewhat difficult (27 percent), while the rest (46 percent) said it was not difficult. About 70 percent also reported feeling they would be stigmatized by their communities if people knew they had sought an abortion, with 29 percent reporting low levels and 31 percent reporting high levels of community stigma.

Those who struggled with their decisions or felt stigmatized were more likely to experience sadness, guilt and anger shortly after obtaining the abortion. Over time, however, the number of women reporting these negative emotions declined dramatically, particularly in the first year after their abortion. This was also true for those who initially struggled with their decision. "

Conditioned responses.

Another example of the mindset.

Right out of their playbook!

Congrats on creating another thread beating a dead horse. The issue has been decided. States have the right to restrict abortions if they choose to do so. Others do not have to restrict it.
Really?

Where are the other threads that attempt to focus on how legalized abortion devalues life in general? Especially in the text of the OP?

From: The 1916 silent film Where Are My Children?
"was the first U.S. film to portray abortion onscreen, depicting both the pro-eugenicist and anti-abortion sentiments frequently found in discussions of family planning at the time. The film follows Richard Walton, a district attorney, and his wife Edith. While Richard prosecutes doctors for obscenity for promoting birth control, Edith is secretly obtaining abortions so that pregnancy and children won't interfere with her socialite lifestyle. Edith also encourages other women to get abortions, including her maid's young daughter, who dramatically dies from a botched abortion. When Richard discovers this, he accuses Edith and her friends of manslaughter. The film ends with Edith and Richard confronting future loneliness, deprived of the children they could have had."

To: BET

"Following the precedent of Obvious Child, Netflix's BoJack Horseman takes the approach that abortion can be funny. After social-media-manager-for-the-stars Diane accidentally tweets that pop star Sextina Aquafina is getting an abortion, Sextina embraces the mistake—even going so far as to release a single "Get That Fetus/Kill That Fetus." The episode follows both Diane's (real) abortion and Sextina's (fake) abortion with humor and (some) sensitivity. The episode openly challenges abortion stigma, and acknowledges humor as a valid way of processing personal decisions and tackling fraught social issues."

Your premise doesn't matter. The law is decided. Learn to live with it, because your vagina aching will not change anything.

Hence the dead horse you are beating.

This still you?

The laws have been changed and Roe v. Wade overturned. Did you miss that little tidbit?

That post was from almost 7 years ago.
