About a decade ago, some guys where I work were talking about heroes. Mostly it was just stupid...about Marvel superheroes and stuff, but some hunters at the idea of real heroes. And one guy finally asked me "Hey, Bothwings. Who are your heroes?" And I told him with strong calm confidence, "I really don't have any." The look of shock and awe and childlike disappointment in his face was SO satisfying. And probably would not have been if I had not been 95% serious.

I think it says a lot when someone asks who your heroes are and you have to respond with Marvel superheroes. That's the best they could do?
