Everyone with ABC radio news should be fired for lying....

There is this thing about a broadcasting company. They are required by law to program in "The Public Interest".

Kimmel's bald-faced lies about the Kirk shooter being a MAGA is directly opposite to the public interest. ABC's advertisers likely advised the C-suite of ABC, prompting a financial decision.

Kimmel was going to bring them millions in fines with his dishonest rhetoric.

Kimmel is free to speak his mind. He'll have to find someplace else to speak it.

Kimmel turned what was supposed to be an entertainment show into a hateful Leftist echo chamber. If Johnny Carson were alive he'd slap Kimmel's ugly mug.

You and all the Trump Haters are panicking because your Democrat Regime's propaganda machine is being dismantled. Bad for you, good for America. :113:
Thank you for admitting that you are anti-first amendment and that the government should decide what speech is permissible.

You are the perfect MAGA.

Never mind Kimmel has no audience to speak of.

Never mind he is losing millions for ABC.

ABC hates the First Amendment.

Weird.

The 'free' networks are authorized and licensed to operate via the FCC. The license includes the rule that the network including all its affiliates must serve the COMMON good.

I generally bypass the IA response but am short on time and am pretty sure this is accurate:

"The FCC's regulations require media networks to serve the common good by providing programming that is responsive to the needs and problems of their local communities. This obligation is part of the public interest obligations that broadcasters must adhere to in exchange for their licenses. The FCC's Manual on Broadcasting provides a detailed overview of these obligations, including how to identify local community needs and how to address them through programming. Additionally, the FCC requires broadcasters to maintain a public inspection file on their operations, which can be accessed by the public to gauge their performance in meeting these obligations."

When a media network becomes a propaganda machine for one political party and intentionally puts out disinformation or suppresses information to benefit one party and harm another party/ideology/group, its FCC license should be revoked. Period. If it puts out programming intentionally offensive to a large segment of its audience, its FCC license should be revoked.

Currently, all three networks should have their FCC licenses revoked. We may see considerable improvement in how things are reported if the current FCC actually does its job to provide oversight and enforce the rules. It hasn't for a very long time now. Misrepresenting one side, suppressing information unfavorable to one side, etc. does not serve the common good.

And when those rules are enforced, the left will no doubt just scream 'suppression of free speech' louder. And you know what? I won't care because it won't be suppression of free speech at all.

That is exactly what he indicated, so your post makes you look stupid... so what else is new.

Weird.

Makes me wonder if this incident isn't just a reason to pull the plug on Kimmel?
Low ratings, probably hemorrhaging revenue.
just a thought
