I'm concerned that it will be their last play when all else fails. They've never understood that Trump's support isn't about cult behavior. Sure, many people probably do think of him as some kind of superman but most just see that he's the only one capable of standing up to the DC Sturmtruppen. If they go so far as to eliminate him, the reaction is going to be very unpredictable but at a minimum, DC will have lost control of large parts of America. The only way the Feds will get compliance to whatever laws or rules they pass going forward, will be if they can place sufficient armed force in those "breakaway" regions of the country.

Trump may have been a nothing under those circumstances. The left may be single handedly responsible for the Trump surge and getting him re-elected. Americans know that the swamp is out to get Trump and Americans not only don't like the swamp but they don't like 20% inflation either, not to mention being closer to war under Biden.
