Two weeks before her Congressional run, she paid off more than $20,000 on a tax lien against her restaurant from the state. The restaurant had accumulated eight tax leans for unpaid unemployment insurance premiums between 2016 and 2020.

In playing follow the link I never found an actually verifiable link disputing the claim...this was as close as it came.

The Rifle Police Department has no record of such a murder. A man did die on the sidewalk down the street from Shooters in the early morning of Aug. 22, 2013. Initially, it was investigated as a possible homicide, but an autopsy determined the man died from a drug overdose.


Notice no link to verify the claim being made by the Rifle Police Department.
