You ask a black or latin kid what time it is and he'll look at his cell and say something like "eight o five". But then if you say "If you have an appointment at nine thirty, how much time do you have?" The kid is lost.

They learn early in their lives not to give you the time of the day.

It's not really an excuse - it's the truth. Blacks and indian hispanics are lost with numbers. They can't tell time.
