What should we do with people who get their first drunk driving?

If they have not killed or hurt anyone.

2 years in home confinement (except for work). Almost like jail.

5 years with no driving priveleges.

500 hours of community service (can be done while in home confinement). This should include helping grief counselors.

I think after 2 days in prison I would have learned my lesson. So anything more than 2 years is pointless. Let them out so they can start paying the family 10%
