Well, to a democrat, that IS a largely clean driving record considering the number of politicians with motor accidents, tickets, running stop signs, unpaid parking fines, speeding and collisions.

Remember Teddy Kennedy, one of the biggest democrats ever--- what did he do? He drove off a bridge and fled the scene of the accident to leave his passenger to drown.

By that standard, this dude barely peeks his head above the crowd.

They think it is patriotic to hate Trump and his supporters. People with echomagalia think it is OK to attack Trump supporters or damage their property. They think calling him a felon and twice impeach president really means something even tho he faced a kangaroo court.

No matter what President Trump does people suffering from echomagalia try to turn everything into a negative event ! For example if OMB donated $100 MIL to a Veterans ORG...they would say he was doing as a tax write off and just to get more attention. Fortunately for the country echomagalia goes away when the politician leaves office. EG: Remember when GWB / Mission Accomplished was 24-7 news on the satanic news ? Now you don't hear anything about the guy.

If the best thing the bigots can come up with are 'traffic violations", then your case is weak.

If we wanted to end Drunk Driving, we could do that easily. Require every car to be fitted with a blow meter to activate the ignition.

We won't do that, of course. The State makes too much money pulling people over for a 0.08 alcohol level and then soaking them for thousands of dollars in legal fees and fines.

And I might give the person 10 years but let them out in 2 with good behavior. Trust me, being in prison for 2 years is hell. 1 or 18 more years is just cruel. Unless the person is a bad person.

I know it sucks. But longer sentences isn't going to stop people. I hate it. But maybe we can make that person pay you 10% of their paycheck for the rest of their lives. Or your life.

Losing a loved one is a living nightmare that doesn't end after just two years. Sadly, that form of Hell goes on forever especially when the loved one goes so unexpectedly.

I did a research paper on this in college (I got an A, but the TA told me he almost failed the paper because he had a DUI and it was painful for him to read). One story I read was of a woman who was hit by a drunk driver while she was in college. She was physically devastated. Spent a long time in the hospital (some of it in a coma). Went through years of rehab, but got back in the saddle. She was mobile and working a job getting independent.

A drunk nurse ran a red light and hit this womans car. The woman didn't make it. The nurse got off with a hand slap.

The name of the article was "They killed my daughter twice".

Hanging is too good for a killer drunk driver. But it will suffice.

You guys talk tough but you have all the power and you aren't implementing such justice. There are a lot of criminals I see on all the crime shows I watch. Real police interrogations. Psychopaths. Kill them. I wish you would. They are savages. Even a lot of the young ones. I'm sorry 14 year old but we got to put you down. It's 100% certain you did it, and we can never let you out into civilized society again. And why should we pay for you to live in prison for 80 years.

Maybe stiffer sentences for first time drunk drivers would lessen the number of drunk drivers but people in their 20's do it. Maybe not as much today now with uber. Not as much as we did. And I know we didn't do it as much as back when cops would just follow you home.

I'm just saying 2 years is long enough. But after they get out they should have to send the family 10% of their paycheck till they die. That's better for everyone. Or how about this. Pay them for 20 years. And if you don't do it again, you're free and clear.
