The NFL's Goodell is so ideologically blind he cannot act to defend the NFLs own interest in preserving its advertising income which will be hurt by people switching off from the half time show.

The number of people who actually watch the halftime show is minuscule.
99% of viewers simply have the game on 'record'. At halftime they get up and do something.
When the game starts they FFX4 through the halftime show.
Anyone who is carefully watching these days notices the commercials are more and more being made to show the product even as the recording is FFing.
Watch carefully and you all will see what I mean.
