Thousands of people are mobilizing for what could be the biggest climate march in the U.S. in years in New York City on Sunday. It's one of many protests across the globe over the next few days with a simple demand: President Biden and other world leaders must phase out fossil fuels.

You have to respect the uncompromising clarity of the March to End Fossil Fuels message: Stop approving new fossil fuel projects, phase out drilling on public lands, declare a climate emergency and provide a just transition to renewable energy.

Because you’re not seeing such a clear vision from the men and women with the power to do something about the climate crisis, only weak-kneed language and half measures.

Young people spearheading the climate protests are quite clear about what actions are required to ensure a livable planet for future generations. In addition to marches and rallies on Sunday, they are also staging a global, youth-led strike on Friday, actions that are timed to take place in advance of a U.N. Climate Ambition Summit in New York on Sept. 20.

It is a far-left political movement that uses fear to agitate weak minded people.

The evidence provided by the numerous mistakes and flaws to be found in all your posts indicates that you would be counted among the "weak minded". There is no political bias in the science you will find at the URL immediately above. The politicization of the topic has been entirely manufactured by the PR efforts of the fossil fuel industry to which the issue represents an existential threat. Right wing opponents of global warming theory and the mitigation measures it demands are being manipulated and used.

Notice how these young climate cultists are demanding sacrifices that they themselves are not willing to make.

No, I have noticed no such thing.

They don't have to wait for a law to tell them to not use electricity or cars or planes or fossil fuel.

And they aren't waiting for it.

They can do that right now, but they aren't.

You are wrong.

They go to their virtue preening protests in cars and planes.

They also go in EVs, hybrids, on bicycles and their own two feet.

They use electricity to surf the web, watch TV, text and charge their phones.

Electricity is not the enemy it is the fossil fuel still used to generate it. But non-emitting technologies are still growing at a rapid pace and energy conservation continues to increase in popularity, particularly among the young.

How much longer will this crazy climate crisis hysteria go on?

What is coming to a slow end - driven by unstoppable reality - is the denial and rejection of established facts by people such as yourself.

Bubba didn't finish Middle School ... although some districts in California teach the children about "Free Press" in 7th Grade ... I guess that's high school material in Alabama ... by then the girls are all pregnant and have dropped out ...
