No. When Turtle said Rittenhouse had the right to protect property I pointed out that he did not. He was not a police officer and had no permission from the city to act as one. Do NOT attempt to disarm another person unless you have ZERO other options. EXPECT that you will be shot.

Furthermore, attempting to do so is a direct threat to the person who is armed and immediately puts that person's life in danger, so if you do try to disarm them, you better be 100% within your right to do so. OTHERWISE, you are the aggressor, and when you get shot, it is justified.

The first person Rittenhouse killed was unarmed and no shots had been fired. Witnesses testify that the man was not a threat.

Its very sad that this stupid kid traveled to a protest and took a gun, but that's just what he did. There's just no excuse for killing two people and maiming a third.

The first attacker was attacking Rittenhouse and trying to steal his rifle, the attacker was guilty of battery at the very least, and quite possibly assault with a deadly weapon. Because you see someone with a rifle, you have no right to either disarm them, or steal the rifle.
