Russia did this to Ukraine, specifically, on purpose.
Can anybody blame the Ukrainians for preferring to fight to the death rather than submit to Russian rule? Ever again??
Why do so many CHOOSE to ignore this? While the Holocaust is mentioned every hour of every day in every corner of the world, people seem to want to hide the Holodomor from public view.
I know why but it would do no good to explain it to the mental deficients in here. Insult intended.
**** Russia. **** the Russian People. Stalin did this to Ukraine (called them 'Kulaks') mostly because the Russians were (and still are) too stupid, too lazy and too drunk to feed their own people but also because, the Russians didn't, and still don't, like people willing to work for something, willing to commit, willing to be successful. The word 'russia' should go down in history as a synonym for 'stupid and failure'. Every problem the world has had for the last 100 years, Russia has been at the center of it.
WW1, they ran away, WW2; they helped Hitler start it. Korea: They were the aggressors, same with Viet Nam, Malaysia, they armed the MidEast and introduced them to socialism. Here is the 'flag' of Arab socialism

Look familiar? At all? AFAIC, Russia should be erased from the Map and all references to it scrubbed from history. Without a doubt, the most destructive country in human history. Pure garbage. And they contribute -- Nothing.
BTW, I am not Ukrainian, don't know any, and have never known any. I just don't like Russia or Russians. Primitive swine. Murdering pigs.

The Ukrainian Genocide
"In the case of the Holodomor, this was the first genocide that was methodically planned out and perpetrated by depriving the very people who were producers of food of their nourishment (for survival). What is especially horrific is that the withholding of food was used as a weapon of genocide and that it was done in a region of the world known as the ‘breadbasket of Europe’.” – Prof. Andrea Graziosi, University of Naples.
An Introduction
In 1932 and 1933, millions of Ukrainians were killed in the Holodomor, a man-made famine engineered by the Soviet government of Joseph Stalin. The primary victims of the Holodomor (literally "death inflicted by starvation") were rural farmers and villagers, who made up roughly 80 percent of Ukraine's population in the 1930s. While it is impossible to determine the precise number of victims of the Ukrainian genocide, most estimates by scholars range from roughly 3.5 million to 7 million (with some estimates going higher). The most detailed demographic studies estimate the death toll at 3.9 million. Historians agree that, as with other genocides, the precise number will never be known.
