And what do you suppose will happen when infections start to rise and friends and family start to die...Can you understand that you can open your business doors all you want but you can't make people enter and spend money.
If people are too afraid to leave their homes to go to those businesses all the open businesses in the world isn't going to put money in the cash register.
This is of course, true. However, once people see others going out and working, taking care of business- and not being struck dead with the virus- the tide will turn. That's where forward looking states like Mississippi and Texas come into the picture. They will start to thrive and others will follow.
The Coronavirus isn't very deadly.
But the fact is that unless you want to commit to permanent lockdown, virtually everyone is bound to contract sooner or later. The House Arrest Scheme only delays the inevitable, if you ever plan to reopen.
