The usual, blather about making the rich pay a "fair" share on taxes. Whatever that really means. At 70, it does not concern me much. We won't go bankrupt during my remaining lifetime. Also, I have seen, wealthy people, those that made it working and those that inherited old money. All, good people, for the most part, and mostly good managers of what they have, better at it than most. The working ones work, plan, manage and are successful in what they apply themselves to, no matter the changes in tax structure or political wind. I am not worried for them financially, as they have continuously applied their skills and abilities to being successful, taking care of themselves and using whatever system is at place in the time to make their way, and always will. God Bless them and more power to them. I am not a "soak the rich" advocate, but I do realize, between local, state and federal taxation, I pay a higher percentage of taxation on my income to the tax man, (which also has not bothered me), over the years, as I have been a pretty good manager, myself, and like them, continued to make my way, no matter the evolving political/economic, and minor taxation differences in place.
