LOL, read your own link. The UK, with roughly 1/4 the population of the US, had 1K stabbing deaths in 2021 vs 3K in the US. That translates to a higher percentage. BTW, that was after barely glancing at your site's graphic.

I found some of the best way to handle knives is via anticut gloves. After multiple scars I have learned to wear gloves when cutting food with knives.

I worked as a meatcutter for 15 years and I've got the scars to prove it.

I was seriously wrong with one particularly bad cut.

One was actually kinda funny. I accidently flipped my boning knife off the table, and it went right through my shoe and into the top of my foot.

Actually, those are the only two cuts I can remember, but I still have a scar on my hand from the bad one.
