I think the bigger question is, will the Democrats piss off so many people with these phony bogus charges to impeach that it will cost them the leadership of the House? And if they impeach, what do you suppose will happen to the next Dem President (if we ever have one again) with a Republican led House?

You are taking everything from CNN at face value. But there is an undercurrent here. So it seems, Barr and Durham must be getting really close to something big here. The Dems are in a panic to stop it even if it's do or die.

What they expected was for Trump to refuse the release of the transcripts, allowing the Democrats to make up all kinds of phony charges against him. But Trump is one up on them. He immediately released the transcript of the call after proper redaction.

The Democrats asked "now what are we supposed to do?" So they lied about what Trump said, started this bogus clandestine inquiry to keep all the voters in the dark. And nobody on the committee is allowed to say a peep about what was asked or to whom.
