Kirk killer suspect in custody!

The shooter now likely has a good lawyer that has told him to not say a word because of how badly this case has been managed:

Anything you say can and will be used against you

Thankfully, high profile murders don’t happen very often and even more seldom with a political bend to them so it’s somewhat foreign territory for most analysts. Its a pretty unique situation. The murderer who committed this barbaric act is going to get the death penalty. I don’t think there is any sober argument to be made otherwise. His life is on a clock. Every second he can delay the inevitable is another second he gets to live. So not cooperating is the smartest move for him. Of course the inverse is true as well, it also opens him up for death by less dainty means the longer he delays; bad things happen in the joint.

Either way, I won’t shed a tear.

One killed by an assassin the other killed while handcuffed and in police custody
One assassinated for his views, another died while resisting arrest in a drug fueled rage.

Next?

Trollwinger rooting for the assassin to get away with it.

Good thread. You'll have to click to read it.
One post in that thread that "not cooperating" means "not confessing". I can see that, since a lawyer would look at how the case was botched (what a shock, Kash!) and sees an opening.

But I do wonder what else could be involved. It could be something as simple as wanting to protect his lover, but I guess there could be more to the story, such as the direct involvement of others.

A trial could turn out to be pretty interesting.

He doesn't or didn't at the time, have a lawyer yet....at the time of sentencing, he still did not have a court appointed lawyer...the Judge was concerned and tried to make certain he understood his rights...

Could be, he is staying mum, until he has a lawyer?

I don't know if he has a lawyer yet. If he does, no doubt he's been told to stay quiet. If he doesn't he may just be aware of his rights. We know that sometimes people will just talk even after being given their rights, and clearly he's not.

Yeah, we'll see.

Wow! How did Megan say she found those posts??

Seems like more is going on...
and what was Charlie saying that made them so whacko on him?

And why make the specific memes etched in to the bullets? Was it messages to these alleged friends or co assassins?

I don't get it?

Another odd thing by the FBI or police too....why release the text messages between Tyler and his lover, without the time stamps?
