I haven't seen that. But I'll take your word for it. Just as likely, some Lace Panty-wearing 'reporter' had heard about her grand daddy's aught-six and invented some 'news' of her own.

I could be, and often am, wrong. But it doesn't look like a Long Action to me. Also looks like a cheapie rifle. Maybe a basic, entry level Ruger .308

Hard to tell because I'm not a hunter anyway. Never saw a Bolt Action Rifle the entire time I spent in the Army and I don't hunt. So my opinion is not quite useless but close to it
