They did not have guns, they did not buy their son a gun.......so he went and bought them illegally......

And I am pretty sure they used 10 round magazines too......

Actually Klebold's girlfriend bought the guns, she was of legal age, then illegally transferred them to him, and she didn't even get charged with a crime.

Had a male given him the gun, he would have been probably not only charged for that, he'd be tried as an accessory before the fact...
