Part of the plea deal no doubt is that witnesses who receive immunity would refrain from telling the world that they lied to make a deal. Are the allegedly corrupted Feds so negligent that they can't even monitor a single witness in a major case or was that the plan all along?

Immunity deals are actually almost always illegal, and enough time has passed so that it may be impossible to revert any more?
