Kevin Strickland exonerated after 42 years in Missouri prison

What marvellous news. Those who criticise the US Justice system for alleged racism will surely be silent over this case. It took a mere 42 years to exonerate this man who happens to be black.

And he probably did something else anyway.
I’m happy that this man is out of prison and saddened that he spent so much of his life wrongly behind bars, but it doesn’t prove that the US justice system is racist.

I think it's great he was finally cleared and released...justice was finally found. I am not sure what racism has to do with this case...white people are wrongfully convicted too.

and the US? You realize innocent people are convicted and sentenced in other countries as well?

the fact he may have done something else is not relevant.

Missouri in the DemoKKKrat days??? No surprise he was railroaded; surprise d that it took so long to free him. Why didn't Obama seek out just this type of situation??

Do you understand that in 1942 Missouri, it was the democrat party that locked this guy up....right? Do you understand that?

you do realize that 1942 is more than 42 years ago....right?

I dont think anyone thought this guy committed a triple homicide in 1942, since he was born in 1956... Now if he was convicted of a triple murder from 1942 then he definitely has a case that the prosecution was horribly off base.

The Republican governor denied him the ability to exonerate himself faster.

You 2 are real pieces of work. This man was in PRISON for 42 years and all you give a shit about is whether you can blame the other "team" for it. YOU and people like you are the problem with this country.

He and the Ag delayed the hearings for months and he also refused to review the case for a pardon.
how did they delay the hearing? they don’t control the courts docket.

Why would he pardon him when he was trying to get the charge dismissed? did any of the prior dem govs pardon him?

What do past governors have to do with the present one? Is whataboutism the only pigeonhole you know?

No it’s your team‘s fault. Not it’s not its your team‘s fault…

You're both one trick ponies.
