Both ketchup, light and dark mustard and Mayo. It depends on what you are eating. Why would one want to limit oneself in the condiment area?


Yeah, who puts mustard on fries? Ketchup or some mayo.

My family never had much money, so we usually bought the ''simple'' stuff. But now that you mention these, I will definitely check for them at the store

That is fine. Ever consider MIXING condiments, liker drizzling a little Pequin hot pepper sauce on the Mayo to give those eggs and fish an added depth of flavor?

Sometimes when I spring for hog dogs, I'll make several and top each one differently. Like a potato, there are so many good ways to eat a dog, just catsup, just mustard, a little of both, with or without both chopped onion and course relish, even chili on top! I must have six different mustards right now.

To me, the key to a good dog is to have GOOD DOGS, like Hebrew National, then there is the question of pork or turkey--- both have their advantages. Finally, you must have good deli-quality buns. After that, there is little one can do to ruin the dog except maybe putting mayo on it.
 
Only thing I use ketchup for is the base for my kick-ass barbecue sauce.

I like to take catsup and mix it about 50/50 with some mango-coconut sauce, then mix in some Pequin hot sauce for kick---- makes a good barbecue sauce for seafood as well as dipping sauce for things like fish sticks and other snacks.
 
I have one bottle of Ketchup in my Fridge
6-8 bottles of different Mustards

Everything but French’s yellow mustard
