That wasn't happening, but after 5 straight Super Bowls, I think they are worn down. On top of that, their entire starting O-line was injured. I think this is the best thing for them.

The Chiefs need a threat at running back. King Henry was out there a couple of years ago and the Chiefs let him slide by. Breece Hall from the Jets is legit and 24 years old. He could have helped the Chiefs. Pacheco runs hard, but he is no real threat. D.K. Metcalf was available, which would have given the Chiefs another serious weapon at receiver, but they let him pass by. George Pickens will be a free agent at the end of this year. AJ Brown is unhappy in Philly, and Mahomes will throw him the ball. The Chiefs should have given up a draft pick fr Micah Parsons. They need a dominant Derrick Thomas-type outside rusher to go along with Jones. Karlaftis isn't it. He's a great player, but team him with Parsons, and the Chiefs would have been in contention. Kelce might want to join his brother. He's a Hall of Famer and had a great career, but they need a faster TE to open up defenses.
