Kash Patel is using polygraph test to find FBI leakers — NYT is (definitely) not pleased.

They use them all the time in the FBI & CIA.
And the military. I had to take lie detector tests for my security clearance.

They are hilariously stupid. They begin with a really dumb card trick and go downhill from there.

Well, more power to him, I'm just surprised that he would rely on polygraphs to fire people. It wouldn't surprise me if many appealed their dismissal based on the polygraph alone. It has value, but is not infallible.
I thought the same thing. I'd have to believe if you never squealed to the NY Times and you failed the polygraph you would fight like hell for your reputation and your career.

The biggest leaker in the Trump Administration is Donald J. Trump.
  • How is that Russian collusion thing working out for ya?
  • About as good as your secret document stealer claim?
  • Or that one about being a danger to the country and the world?
  • How about being a mass murderer? Dictator?
  • Rapist and felon?
Guess you must be feeling pretty lucky now with your new "leaker" gambit.

Have you ever considered just running a better candidate? I mean, if Trump is so obviously flawed and so bad, running someone better should have been A PIECE OF ******* CAKE.

So how long do polygraphs tests take?

Who are the leakers?

Was this just a way to politically “cleanse” the Bureau?

The "leakers" are more patriotic than the neofascists on whom they are leaking.

So to speak.
Only because you agree with them. You would try to crucify leakers for an administration of which you approved.

Would like to see my very, very long list of hoaxes you all have fallen for? Almost on a weekly basis! There have been so many I can't keep up.

I mean, your cult has been so dumbed down at this point, you fell for the hoax about Obama receiving royalties any time someone in government uses the term "Obamacare". :auiqs.jpg:

And Trump is a rapist and a convicted felon. Have you been in a coma?

Explain to me why, out of 19 candidates in 2016, the Know Nothing Party picked the very worst candidate who is antithetical to every single principle they claim to believe in.

This told me the GOP is dead. Dead, dead, dead.

Spoken like a true totalitarian.

People like you are the reason we have a 4th amendment.
Really?

We heard over and over from Democrats that none of the people targetted by the FBI/DOJ had anything to worry about.

Link?

Also, it's a good thing I'm not a Democrat, isn't it.

"Unease at F.B.I. Intensifies as Patel Ousts Top Officials

Senior executives are being pushed out and the director, Kash Patel, is more freely using polygraph tests to tamp down

on news leaks about leadership decisions and behavior.

Before being confirmed as the director of the F.B.I., Kash Patel made clear his intent to remake it in his own image, reflecting a larger desire by the White House to bend the agency to its will.
“The F.B.I. has become so thoroughly compromised that it will remain a threat to the people unless drastic measures are taken,” he wrote in his book “Government Gangsters,” asserting that the top ranks of the bureau should be eliminated.

Behind the scenes, his vision of an F.B.I. under President Trump is quietly taking shape. Agents have been forced out. Others have been demoted or put on leave with no explanation. And in an effort to hunt down the sources of news leaks, Mr. Patel is forcing employees to take polygraph tests.

Taken together, the moves are causing worrisome upheaval at the F.B.I., eliciting fear and uncertainty as Mr. Patel and his deputy, Dan Bongino, quickly restock senior ranks with agents and turn the agency’s attention to immigration. Their persistent claims that the bureau was politicized under previous directors, in addition to their swift actions against colleagues, have left employees to wonder whether they, too, will be ousted, either because they worked on an investigation vilified by Trump supporters or had ties to the previous administration."

The NYT's panic is a good sign that the Deep State is getting gutted. Hopefully, grand juries are working behind the scenes investigating the DOJ/FBI's lawfare campaign against Biden's political opponents.
Excellent..... This is the way it should be.
All FBI employees signed a contract when they entered service stating they would not transfer sensitive information from inside the bureau to public agencies. The Penalty for that is termination and possible prosecution. Why do they sign these things if they have no intention of living up to them?

Well on the plus side, as long as he is going after his own people, he isn't going after the rest of us infidels
Exactly who are 'his own people?'

Maybe he has corroborating intel and the polygraph provided support. That is the way lie detectors are typically used in law enforcement.

Yeah, well, the polygraph is not absolute. You get false positives and some people can beat them. Pretty thin if you ask me to fire a federal employee with alone, so yeah, maybe in concert with other evidence.

Then it will be up to them to fight it in court.

This is great news. I couldn't be happier. The FBI is the most powerful agency of all, and under Obama became the most dangerous and ruthless. They became friends of the Democrats because of DEI hiring of malcontents and angry, unqualified Democrats who couldn't get jobs anywhere else. Perkins Coie has Security Clearances (they shouldn't), and of course, that meant they were friends with everyone at the CIA and FBI, becoming so chummy with them that they set up Trump for Russian Collusion with millions from Hillary in 2016. It was recently revealed that John Brennan himself insisted the Steele Dossier be included, even knowing it was fake. The FBI is so entrenched with Perkins Coie that they allowed the FBI to use a plush office(s) in their buildings whenever they wanted to. Hillary had 7 Perkins Coie attorneys representing her for destroying her cell phones (at the direction of Perkins Coie), and the FBI tucked it up with them at her depositions, later doing nothing about the destruction of evidence.

That is what the FBI had become, and it got even worse under Chris Wray. DEI hires are entrenched there and won't leave because they have no real skills other than hating conservatives. Patel needs to clean house because there must be hundreds or even thousands of saboteurs there.

There is nothing illegal about FBI agents leaking unethical conduct to the press, MAGA imbecile.

Not sure why your Nazi ass thinks this is a good thing.

That sounds pretty reasonable.

Until you think of the alternative to firing FBI agents for failing polygraphs.

The alternative is for an FBI agent to fail a polygraph on question such as "have you leaked highly classified information to people not authorized to have access to it," and to continue to make an average of $73,000 per year in a position of federal power and trust.

In a position like that, the agent in question can either lose their security clearance, which would make him or her far less useful, or they would keep their security clearance when his or her reliability is strongly in question.

They polygraphed their way into the FBI, so they are not known to be suseptable to false positives.

You're right about beating the system, so it should only be relied on to deny clearances, more investigation is needed to deny them.
