For the record, the appellant court ruling is a fucking delight to read. They slaughter Lake's absurd legal arguments. Here's one of my favorite passages:

"Lake first asserts that the challenger in an election contest need only prove her claim by a preponderance of the evidence, not clear and convincing evidence, as the superior court required. The preponderance standard is satisfied by proof that the fact in issue “is more probable than not,” whereas the heightened clear and convincing evidence standard requires proof that the fact in issue “is highly probable or reasonably certain.” Kent K. v. Bobby M., 210 Ariz. 279, 284–85, ¶ 25 (2005) (citations omitted).

Lake cites no authority for her argument that a preponderance of the evidence standard applies in an election contest, and we are aware of none."


Lake did what Lastmander tried......just making up an imaginary legal standard and then insist that the judge was bound to her imagination.

Nov 9 filing in Maricopa County Superior Court will state that Katie Hobbs and other elected/appointed officials in AZ have been taking bribes through a fake trust deed scheme operated by Brittany Rae Chavez and Dawna Rae Chavez.
