A number of working-class folks are now out of a job, because California has a love affair with criminals.

I feel for the employees who lost their jobs, and the loss of business for the owners and suppliers. California is beyond hope, and my only wish is that the collapse is swift and complete, so they can rebuild at some point.

The last remaining Denny’s in San Francisco closed its doors this month because customers would frequently leave without paying their bill in the crime-plagued city, according to the restaurant’s owner.

Chris Haque shuttered the 24-hour diner at 816 Mission St. near the Union Square section on Aug. 1 after 25 years.

“We’re the only store left, and we operated until the last day that we could,” Haque told SFGATE.

“The cost of doing business is tremendous. There’s vandalism, and people come and eat and walk away, and there’s no one to stop them.”

Reminds me of egypt and the plagues.

This is the California Kamala Harris helped to build. Lawlessness breeds lawlessness its now the culture here, where it was once looked down upon. The oness who do it feel no shame as they might have in the past.

But they were racist, they expected customers to pay for their meals.

Racist ass Denny's should have been bankrupt since the early to mid-90's.

I read a story the other day about a new program in downtown SF where some new businesses can get free rent for a few months, hoping they can make it and then pay regular rent - which in one place was 24K per month. Got to sell one hell of a lot of product just to meet that, let alone all of the other high overhead, including high labor costs. And if the business owner doesn't make enough on top of that for themselves to pay all of their own personal high costs such as a mortgage, then it ain't happenin. No reason to stay in business if you can't survive yourself.

Nobody from CA should be welcomed in any Denny's in any other state.

Oh, you are from California, you can dig through McDonald's trash if you need something to eat.

Better yet:

They believe they have a right to commit crimes. Any kind of crimes.

California democrats can not win a national election today...
