Folks don't need, "credible economic source(s)," to know how simple economics work.
The more the government borrows and spends, the more it will affect the ability of the economy to grow, and likewise, will affect the vaule of the dollar and inflation. These are well known standard economic principles.
If Trump and Biden's pandemic spending, along with Biden's enormous government pork bills have caused this mess, moar of it? Will obviously destroy what is left of the mainstream productive economy.

When I was young, the establishment went to war for resources, you know, OIL and the interests of multinational corporations.
Now? The sad thing is, we have been doing war for so long, that institutional investors need it like a heroine addict needs a hit. The establishment cannot function without borrowing money, and giving it to the MIC for war all over the planet.
I watched that interview with RFKjr's former VP did with Dave Smith, and she points this out. That was awesome that she highlights the problem . . and yet?
I just can't, and won't trust Trump to end that shit. Definitely not as long as he is still surrounding himself with folks like Pompeo.

The statement from her campaign said she would concentrate on the meat industry because, “soaring meat prices have accounted for a large part of Americans’ higher grocery bills, even as meat processing companies registered record-breaking profits following the pandemic.”
OK let’s look at the meat industry
COVID and the Ukraine war raised the price of grain and resulted in a large increase in the price of meat. That is understandable
But once those grain prices came back down, high prices were maintained and profits for the meat industry rose.
Harris wants to go after those profits
