I think what's changed is we thought Trump would motivate Maga, and he may but his rallies show the enthusisam of a nursing home. Biden, meanwhile, couldn't excite a nursing home ... even if he brought cake. And there's no doubt that polls show Harris breathing some excitement into the 2020 dem coalition.

I'm unsure if people will respond to negative feelings by showing up to vote for, or against, someone. I doubt it, at least to any meaningful degree. IF I don't like something, I tend to avoid it.
