I'm saying he has as much on his platform and has explained in numerous interviews and speeches as is reasonable until the issues are debated and the details worked out in legislation. It is unreasonable to ask any candidate to be specific in every detail. It is not unreasonable to ask a candidate what his/her intentions or basic philosophies are.

It establishes the direction, in politics, for the direction that the administration will move, and a well-informed voter will be able to decipher the steps required to meet those policy/platform goals.
