Just the facts folks... 20 million newly eligible able-bodied adults were added to Medicaid..

Um, $100 per month would be $1200 per year, not $9992, or $11,000.

Okay, let's make it 1000 bucks a month. I tried it. I was two hurt to work and was within 2 years of 62 with a retirement pay of 1400 bucks a month. Yes, you can exist on that but you certainly cannot live. It was a miserable 2 years. When I finally started getting my SSI then it made the world of difference in living.

It would be interesting to know where the majority of people are located.

More than likely, Cali and other blue states that have seen business closures or moving out of state that leaves people without a job or benefits.

Well that ^^^ and probably sanctuary states that have higher numbers of illegals.
Wrong. Rural areas here in Kansas will get hurt bad by medicaid cuts.

The facts folks...
“Between 2013 and 2021, almost 20 million newly eligible able-bodied adults were added to Medicaid.
Of the working-age adults on Medicaid, 9.5 million are parents, 13.8 million are disabled, and
13.9 million are able-bodied adults without ...
Today, a plurality of Medicaid spending goes towards able-bodied adults, with 62 percent of them not working, seeking education/training, nor volunteering.
Now the average Medicaid beneficiary gets in 2021 $9,992 – $13,338
So folks 13,900,000 ABLE-Bodied get an average of $11,000 or $ 162,143,500,000 a year...
It's not about being "able-bodied".....it's about being too ******* poor to afford health care.

Even people making good money like myself are sick and tired of paying $500 per month for health care. I guess you just enjoy constantly eating Trump's bullshit.

I was an insurance agent. I saw the premiums. I stopped selling life and health insurance because I felt the premiums were way too high.

It's ******* ridiculous. You can tell that none of the MAGA imbeciles on this board have real lives where they are actually paying for health insurance. Someone else is taking care of their sorry asses.

This is not acceptable to any feeding frenzy that masquerades as a society.

Yes, they probably will across the country.........but I did ask 'where were the majority' of the numbers from that would indicate cities and larger towns. Rural Kansas isn't either of those.

But while we're at it, I'll add this........

I do think the country does need some type of 'safety net' for the poor and disadvantaged......but I also think there needs to be an overhaul of the rules. SSI, disability for those who haven't worked or paid into SSA enough to qualify is a different ballgame altogether and not included here.

Cash, food stamps and medicaid are federally funded programs, with certain eligibility rules.......mostly income and asset limits..........paid to states in block grants. States then go by their own rules to distribute funds to recipients that state has determined is eligible as long as they meet both fed & state rules. So what is allowed beyond the federal rules in one state isn't the same in another.

As for medical providers.......they tend to over charge the program for their services, just so they get a reasonable amount after the 'negotiated' amount. IE........$10K service is performed (what it might actually cost to do), but they charge medicaid/medicare and even some insurances $15K or $20K because the negotiated price is a pittance of what it really costs.

And back just before Obamacare, my hubs had to have surgery on both eyes, but done separately. We were sent a bill for $X amount, and we went to pay cash. We ended up paying a smaller amount and when I asked about it, was told they charge higher to insurance because it costs them more to deal with. By us paying cash, it kept it simple and lower costs all around.

Did you ever pass a math class in your life? That’s 13,000 x 13 million. Let’s see if you can come back with the correct answer.
Coming from the guy who insisted we would need thousands of nuke reactors to handle EVs...that’s rich.
