If they refuse to learn, you don't pass them on to the next grade. Lets see how they like being seventeen-year-old second graders. What does that have to do with the instruction if it is made and the kids refuse to learn?

I just want to know if you could pass the same test that you are laughing about ..
Feel better about yourself now?
.
Yes, I graduated out of the LAUSD in 1970.I’m taking it you’re over 40.
Because they STUDY for the Test. How is it 91% of non Americans can pass the test but just 3% of young American adults can?
So 12 years of studying by Americans is 3% of what non Americans can do in 30 days?Because they STUDY for the Test.
Young adults have a better chance of passing than Old adults.
Yep. Us old farts actually learned things in public education.Yes, I graduated out of the LAUSD in 1970.
Again OhPleaseJustQuitI just want to know if you could pass the same test that you are laughing about .
You blame public education, but you yourself were public educated (if you graduated or not, did you graduate HS?)

I don't believe your 3% claim. So 12 years of studying by Americans is 3% of what non Americans can do in 30 days?
And they are totally dependent on a technology that can be taken from them at any second by an EMP or major solar flare. I use the internet to research, but nothing can take from me what I have learned. I use skills I learned sixty years ago every day. I use professionals because I want to, not because I need to. I can repair plumbing, build anything I need from wood, work with metal a little bit, I can cook, sew somewhat. I am nowhere as self-sufficient as a pioneer was, but I could survive if I had to.Todays students have the equivalent of a school library at their fingertips.
They laugh at the struggles of our generation to maximize the use of the internet
Different life skills
But he or she won't remember it in a day or week when he or she takes the test. What purpose does a student memorizing the Citizenship Test serve when any student can Google the information in a few seconds?
I'm sure you could, as could I.And they are totally dependent on a technology that can be taken from them at any second by an EMP or major solar flare. So you think the poll lied?I don't believe your 3% claim.
You are ONE of those Americans, what does that say about you?
Learn from what? The internet would be down. They can learn
When you figure out that very simple question, you'll be a little less stupid. How is it 91% of non Americans can pass the test but just 3% of young American adults can?
I use algebra occasionally; I haven't used trig since I was EOD and had to calculate downwind hazard areas for chemical and nuclear weapons.Who uses algebra, trig or calculus? 0.1% of the population? No wonder you teachers don’t teach math anymore.
What good is to know about the history of slavery, racism, sexual orientation when any student can Google the information in a few seconds? What purpose does a student memorizing the Citizenship Test serve when any student can Google the information in a few seconds?
We all know the answer. When you figure out that very simple question, you'll be a little less stupid.
.So you think the poll lied?
