Actually Joe goal is to call everyone that disagree with him a racist because he believe Chicago Police Department should just turn a blind eye to the false report.

What Joe should understand is the Chicago PD will throw the book at the individual because of the wasted resources that could have been used for real victims.

But Joe will scream racism...

the CPD has no business throwing hte book at anyone after it's bad conduct related to the Van Dyke case or Sgt. Watts who framed hundreds of people for fake drug charges.

Hopefully, the States Attorney will have the good sense to not escalate this against a celebrity defendant with deep pockets.

If you or I want pot, prostitution, murder or whatever to not land people in jail we better start voting, not just saying it on a message board like that makes it so.

People file false reports all the time, and they usually don't go to jail for it.

The point I was making that if a white guy fakes a hate crime and doesn't go to jail for it, the black guy shouldn't either.

I have no problem with him paying a fine or losing his job... but we'd be confirming his point about racism if we send him to jail for something this petty.

actually, a lot of cities have much higher murder rates.. Chicago only has a higher raw number of murders because it's such a large city.

the main reason why people don't cooperate with the police is the police have a pretty ugly history in this city. John Burge torturing suspects, some of whom went to death row. He got a whopping two years in prison.

Jason van Dyke shot LaQuan Mcdonald 16 times, got a slap on the wrist. Another cop beat the shit out of a bartender, another framed hundreds of people on false drug charges... I could go on and on. This is why the community doesn't trust the police.
