Jury deadlocked on Daniel Penny manslaughter trial

Scared. Wow! That justifies killing a man.

enough

You're pathetic on this one

Optics. Biases. Bullshit fears of your own.

Neely fucked around and found out.

And just to bring back an old favorite from years ago:

Dainty takes it up the ass, dooh dah, dooh dah,
Dainty takes it up the ass, all the dooh dah day.

Looks like they have given the Jury an Allen Charge.

What is an Allen (or "dynamite") charge?

When jurors cannot agree on a verdict and report this to a judge, the judge may issue further instruction to them to encourage those in the minority to reconsider their position. These instructions are known as an Allen charge or, more casually, as a dynamite charge.

The Allen charge is named for the United States Supreme Court case Allen v. United States (1896) in which the Court approved such instructions in federal cases.

Actually thats the literal legal definition of self defense in most jurisdictions: reasonable fear of death or grievous bodily harm. The BG was shouting that he was going to kill people. The victims were in an enclosed space.

I was in the Wendy's from the incident below 3 hours before the people were robbed and killed. One of the women killed took my order.

They followed robbers directions, didn't resist, and got executed for their troubles.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wendy's_massacre

The robbery was carefully planned, as Taylor forced his former manager there, Jean Auguste, to summon the six employees to his office on the pretense of having an important meeting. Taylor and Godineaux took the seven employees into the restaurant's freezer, bound and gagged them at gunpoint, put plastic bags over their heads, and then shot each of them in the head with a Bryco-Jennings Model J38 .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol.

And if it's the usual F train car, you can't open the end doors, because the ends have a car length booth for the engineer or conductor.

I did not intend to blow up the world.

Stop showing your declining mental age.
Strange, I don't feel blown up.:p

Neely was the aggressor, yes, but that was not reason for Penny to kill.
Neely had attacked three women on trains previously. I understand your points. However, I also sympathize with the defendant.

Well, didn't he choke a guy to death? What extenuating circumstance absolves him of that--- because his intentions were good?
If lefties in that NY jury convict him for protecting people, democrats will suffer a tremendous blow.

Now it seems that the jurors are stuck on the first count. And they can’t move on to other counts (apparently) until they reach a unanimous verdict on that first count.

This is awful. It mens AT LEAST one juror believes that this is a true manslaughter case.

This case should never even have been brought.

What do you expect from a Manhattan Jury? A Brooklyn Jury would be the same. A Queens or Staten Island jury would have acquitted already, a Bronx Jury would have convicted already.

The F train travels through Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Yet there were areas of Manhattan this election that voted up to 85% for Trump.

The F train? I only remember there being an E train. Did they add a new one?

Manhattan looks solid blue to me.

F train runs parallel in Queens to the E under Queens Blvd, then the E goes down 6th Ave, the F goes down 6th Ave.
