June 2025 inflation 2.7%, up 0.3% from 2.4% in May, as per expectations.

Boy those tariffs... they're killing us.

Gotta say, though -- with graphs like this, you'd think inflation spiked in June.
They sure are trying.

/----/ Yup , that's great news.

The big picture is that inflation is rising.
Inflation, in normal times, bumps up and down every month - +/- 0.3% from month to month is meaningless.

You people promised out of control inflation of Trump raised the tariffs like he promised.
He did. It isn't.
Much to your chagrin.

Its not going down. Its going up, month over month over month.

When Joe screwed up the oil supply that set the inflation up when they added all of the legislation the first two years. Wea re still suffering the effects.
Yeah, unfortunately, Joe's 4 year inflation total of about 20% is cooked into the books, still making it hard for Americans today to afford to live. You can't ever take the 20% back either without having deflation, which is actually bad in itself. So, the best thing we can do is to not bring back the Biden policies which brought on the 20% inflation and do the best we can moving forward. I would only start worrying if inflation hits 3%.

On Tuesday my supplier just started charging 8.5% tariff. On TUESDAY! Give it a month then show us the numbers.

So much for bring prices down. I heard this last night. Not on the fake news. I heard it on Stephen Colbert: Beef prices are indeed up, reaching record highs in the U.S.

No wonder Trump got him cancelled.
