I worked very hard this week and paid my taxes... That's what I did. And I didn't whine about it like a little bitch like you do.

What I did this week was work at a food pantry that serves mostly ILLEGAL HISPANIC IMMIGRANTS, Joe.

The problem I described happened because the Koch brothers convinced the GOP (and to a lesser degree the Democrats) that government should side with the rich and corporations instead of workers and consumers.

Okay, there's a few problems with this argument.

The first is, you give the "Socialist Honor Roll" of countries where there is a lot of poverty, but... um, there was even more poverty and inequality in those countries BEFORE the communists took over. That's why these countries HAD revolutions.

Secondly, we had an example of the kind of policies I want working just fine, that was America between 1933 and 1980. We got out of the world's worst depression, built an economy based on equality and fairness, and enjoyed wealth never seen before. Or at least white people did.

Final point. All the countries you list have one other thing in common. The US and the rest of the world punishing them for picking an economic system we don't like. We STILL are punishing Cuba 60 years later for taking the Mob's Casinos away. I mean, I guess it made sense during the Cold War, but that ended 30 years ago, and we are STILL punishing them for picking an economic system we don't like.

As for China... your side describes it as a communist shithole when they do things you don't like, but a Capitalist wonder when they do things you do...
