Judicial Watch Releases Special Report: "The Rebranding of ACORN"

They had min. wage workers who made up names to get paid...END OF STORY, dittoheads.

So you think these community organizers are totally innocent? I'm not even going to waste my time looking up any links to the ones in Ohio that were paid with drugs....
...Or smokes and a six pack...maybe some Wild Irish Rose?

How so? Link?

There's no law that defines "Tampering with the Registration Process".

How so? Link?

What is "ID Fraud"? Link?

What "mess" had to get "straightened out"?

No matter how much you wish for it, door-to-door voter registration isn't illegal, and never will be.

How about addressing the points ion the OP. Read the Link.

FL 2009 In September, 11 ACORN workers were accused of forging voter registration applications in Miami-Dade County during the last election. IN 2008 Election officials in Indiana have thrown out more than 4,000 ACORN-submitted voter registrations after finding they had identical handwriting and included the names of many deceased Indianans, and even the name of a fast food restaurant.
MI 2008 Clerks in Detroit found a "sizeable number of duplicate and fraudulent [voter] applications" from the Michigan branch of ACORN. Those applications have been turned over to the U.S. Attorney's office for investigation.
2004 The Detroit Free Press reported that “overzealous or unscrupulous campaign workers in several Michigan counties are under investigation for voter-registration fraud, suspected of attempting to register nonexistent people or forging applications for already-registered voters.” ACORN-affiliate Project Vote was one of two groups suspected of turning in the documents.
MO 2008 Nearly 400 ACORN-submitted registrations in Kansas City have been rejected due to duplication or fake information.
2007 Four ACORN employees were indicted in Kansas City for charges including identity theft and filing false registrations during the 2006 election.
2006 Eight ACORN employees in St. Louis were indicted on federal election fraud charges. Each of the eight faces up to five years in prison for forging signatures and submitting false information.
2003 Of 5,379 voter registration cards ACORN submitted in St. Louis, only 2,013 of those appeared to be valid. At least 1,000 are believed to be attempts to register voters illegally.

Let me help you out a little, maybe you'll understand a little better.

ACORN, along with a number of affiliated organizations, works to register low-income people to vote. I understand that that concept is repugnant to you (because they don't vote the way you think they should), but it's not against the law, and many would say that it's a good thing.

The way those campaigns are run, ACORN hires a bunch of unemployed people for a short time. Each of them is sent out each day, unsupervised, and told to come back at the end of the day with all the registrations they've collected. (They're not allowed, legally, to set a "quota" of registrations per day, but they'll fire anyone who doesn't get around 10 a day). At the end of the day, the staff is legally obliged to turn EVERY SINGLE REGISTRATION to the county clerk's office - even if they're clearly fake.

Now, which is more likely? An international conspiracy, involving thousands of people, or a bunch of lazy canvassers filling out fake registration cards in a Denny's and spending the rest of their shift playing video games at home? Once again, I'll come back to my police analogy - it's pretty much a given that there are plenty of corrupt cops, everywhere. Is that the fault of all the police departments across the country as a whole, or the few bad cops themselves?

If in fact the stated policy of ACORN was to KNOWINGLY submit false registration cards then they are guilty of suborning the false registrations.

Incorrect.

It would be a felony if ACORN didn't turn in every card they received - without exemption.

Hate to break it to you but some State's Attorney Generals did not agree with you.

The law is simply, if you KNOWINGLY submit a false registration you are guilty of a crime. You have stated that ACORN knew of false registrations and knowingly submitted them for Registration as legal voters.

Well no, I did not. I have no idea if ACORN "knowingly" did anything. Neither do you.

But feel free to show some evidence for your claims - I work in election politics and I know you're very wrong about this one.

Wow, some of you guys really do live in highly selective edited version of reality!

You mean the Liberals that are willing to just IGNORE a sycophant of Obama, a sitting Governor in the United States floating the idea that we should Illegally, unconstitutional "suspend" all Federal Elections?

No that's not it at all. It's more like ignoring the real investigation done on O'Keefe cut-n-paste videot splicing job that made all then cons believe they were helping a pimp. Or thinking that voter registration fraud led to fraudulent votes. Mostly ACORN was guilty of basing the pay of their worker on a quota.

On the other, I believe there will be riots in the streets if they try to suspend the Constitution. And rightly so, there were elections all through all our major conflicts and wars.

The extent that you guys just simply don't understand how things work boggles the mind. This vision of ACORN as the boogeyman is hilarious to me.
BULL SHIT !!! Acorn is a left wing voter fraud factory !!

Congrats! You are an idiot brainwashed to the point of violent mindless hate. ACORN had minimum wage workers who made up names to get paid. End of story. Never any actually fraudulent votes or anything like it. Idiocy.

They had min. wage workers who made up names to get paid...END OF STORY, dittoheads.

No end of story Einstein. Please itemize the cost paid out for the Fraud, the Investigation, and the Cost to Prosecute.

These Clowns are lining up to do it again, and you are okay with that, only because you have no Ethics. ;)

And here I thought torture was a VALUABLE means of getting information, like the stuff that led to the finding and killing of Osama Bin Laden.

Boogeyman? No!

Just a dem organization that committed fraud across the entire country

You said this.

Which is it? Or are you claiming that knowingly filing a false registration to vote is not a crime?

Still haven't gotten the cranial-rectal inversion taken care of I see?

Awwww it's cute the way you just talking out of your asshole like that.

ACORN was a target.

So are you.
ACORN are criminals. And YOU support thier criminality.

That's the spirit.

I do support voter registration drives in poor districts. However it is a large organization with lot of branches and employees. The employees who turn in fraudulant registration were doing so to game the virtual quota pay based system were criminals. The investigations showed that the quota base pay and bonus system was illegal in some instances but it did not result in voter fraud and was not pervasive throughout the organization. So yes some people did some illegal things but that simply doesn't mean the entire organization is criminal.
