Judge Orders Plano Schools to Let Students Distribute Religious Gifts

PLANO, Texas — A federal judge Thursday ordered the Plano school district to let students distribute "religious viewpoint gifts" at school parties set for Friday.

The order from Judge Paul Brown in Sherman came one day after four families sued — accusing the Plano district of banning Christmas and religious expression from classrooms.
