Those people can easily get an absentee ballot if they have a valid excuse. "traveling salesmen are practically extinct.. Doctors and nurses work where they live, for the most part. Students can register where they go to school. That's what they did when I went to school. Airline pilots can arrange to be in town on election day. Only a very small percentage of people need to vote absentee.
