Man convicted despite wife's penis testimony
An Iowa man has been convicted of indecent exposure despite his wife testifying that her husband's penis couldn't have been seen from 35ft away as alleged.
Doug Neece was charged with indecent exposure following three incidents in 2002.
In one, a female postal worker said she saw Neece, naked from the waist down, standing in a doorway of his home or garage with an erection.
The postal worker said Neece had an erection at the time, reports the Quad City Times.
Neece told the court in Scott County that his clothes didn't fit well because he'd lost weight and that he was doing yard work with one of his children when one of the incidents was reported.
His wife Sheila told the jury that, from a physical standpoint, her husband isn't very well-endowed and simply couldn't have been seen from that distance.
Neece, 41, has no previous criminal convictions, but faces up to a year in jail on each charge and will be placed on Iowa state's sex offender registry.
